What is the SPCEA

SPCA is a foundation that aims to provide aid for all animals in need. This includes vetting shelter food and home and to help enforce animal welfare laws in New Zealand. The SPCA has been running since 1872 in New Zealand and 1824 in England. They aim to prevent animal abuse before it can happen by evacuating people and providing over 90 Op Shops . They are based all over New Zealand with 27 centers and 13 vets providing vetting support and over 90 op shops all over NZ. Being the only charity able to protect all animals including prosecuting people under the Animal Welfare Act 1999 they need a large number of doneash that only 10 % the govmin gives them out of the $74m they need to operate.There team includes Todd Westwood the Chief Executive Officer, Arnja Dale the Chief Scientific Officer, Jason Copus the Chief Financial Officer, Cathy Crichton the head of GM - Retail Julia van de Coolwijk the GM - Engagement, and Liz Andrews the GM - People, Culture & Safety, Human Resources all working hard to make SPCA the foundation the animals need.
